## <span style="color: #003366">Windows Firewall Modifications Required</span>

<span style="color: #222222">When method (3) NAT is chosen (refer to </span><span style="color: #222222">[Prostix Trade Portal External Access](https://sterkb.atlassian.net/wiki/pages/createpage.action?spaceKey=TP&title=Prostix%20Trade%20Portal%20External%20Access)</span><span style="color: #222222"> for further information), and when the webservice is installed on a Windows 2008+ Server when its Windows Firewall is active, the following modifications are required:</span> 

1. <span style="color: #222222">Change the following existing Inbound Rule:</span>
  - <span style="color: #222222">File and Printer Sharing (echo request ICMPv4-In)</span>
  - <span style="color: #222222">Enabled</span>
  - <span style="color: #222222">This allows ping test from Prostix server</span>
2. Add the following Inbound rule:<span style="color: #222222"> </span>
  - New rule, rule type: Port
  - General: Name: All traffic from ProStix server; Enabled; Action: Allow the connection
  - Protocols and Ports: TCP, all local ports, allow Any protocol type
  - Scope: Local IP address: These IP addresses: Add IP subnet of ProStix server. For example, 192.168.1.0/24
  - Advanced: leave Domain & Private profile enabled and disable public profile.
3. <span style="color: #222222">Add the following Inbound Rule: </span>
  - General: Name: http-80; Enabled; Allow the connection
  - Protocols and Ports: Protocol type: TCP; Local port: Specific port: 80, Remote port: All ports
  - Scope: Local IP address: These IP addresses: Add IP address of ProStix server
  - Advanced: leave Domain & Private profile enabled, and disable public profile
