The text displayed on the top bar buttons can be customised according to your organisation's requirements.

Example top bar buttons:

To customise top bar buttons, perform the following:

1. From the **Screen Definitions** window, use your arrow key to move down to the **topbuttonbar** object sets, then select F6 to add a new top button bar. Add the Object Set, Object, Object Type and Description, then select enter.

2. From the **Object Maintenance **window, add the Object Label, Object Value and Object Value 2, as appropriate, then press F1 to save.

3. To ensure the top buttons updated successfully, logon to your Trade Portal home page, then confirm.

4. Use your arrow keys to move up or down to the appropriate Object Set, then select F7 to change a top button bar. Select enter to tab to the next value, then update each value as appropriate, then press F1 to save.

5. Use your arrow keys to move up or down to the appropriate Object Set, then select F5 to delete an existing top button bar, then F5 to confirm.

The following Screen Definitions control the top bar of the Trade Portal:

To hide any of the above buttons from view we recommend you consult first with Sterland Support, however should you wish to disable or 'hide' a button you simply <F7> edit and add an asterix to the object field:

the Enter through to the Object Maintenance scree and delete the "Object Label" field:

"Products" menu is now removed from the Trade Portal:
