There are two types of custom lists that can be used within the Trade Portal: My Custom Lists  - can be created by the customer from a selected range of products which they can save for future reference and use by copying to cart for placing recurring orders. This list can be edited by the customer to create a new 'My custom list' or to update an existing list. Generic Custom Lists  - Users can import generic custom lists for their customers either by branch, or Company (ie available to all Trade Portal users), allowing your organisation to suggest products you would like customers to purchase and is readily available in stock at the branches. It allows customers to bring up products and quickly order what they need without having to search the database for the relevant products. These lists are NOT editable by the customers. Refer to the following links for further information:   Creating Custom Lists  1. Select new products and then add the selected products into the shopping cart. 2. Select ‘ Save   List ’ on the header of the shopping cart. 3. Enter ‘ List   Name ’ and then click ‘ Save ’. 4. A confirmation message will come up, ‘List Saved’ and then click  ‘Ok’. Viewing Custom Lists 1. Select ‘ Custom List ’ from the top level header menu. 2. All existing custom lists for the customer are displayed and defaults in ascending order (oldest to newest). Click the ‘ Name ’ tab to sort in descending order. 3. Select a custom list and double click on it. 4. A new window opens displaying the products in the saved list. Editing Custom Lists 1. Select ‘ Custom   Lists ’ from the top level header menu. 2. All existing 'My custom lists' for the customer are displayed on the right side of the screen and defaults in ascending order (oldest to newest). Click the ‘ My Custom Lists ’ header to sort in descending order. 3. Select a custom list and click on it to open. 4. A new window opens displaying the products in the saved list. 5. To delete a product you can click on the red cross at the end of the product line. 6. To add products or change quantities click on ‘Edit Products’. The products will be populated to the cart. 7. Make required changes including updating qty, remove or add products. 8. Once changes made are completed, click on ‘Save List’ button. Enter a new list name or use the existing list name to overwrite the custom list with the new changes and click 'Save'. 9. A confirmation message will come up, ‘List Saved’ and then click ‘ Ok ’. The list will now be available in the  My Custom List  section of Custom List. Importing Custom Lists A custom list of products can be imported into the Trade Portal for a selected customer. This list can then be used as required when adding products to the shopping cart. A .csv format of the list is saved to the  ProStix/dmp  directory following the format below: This can be accessed by selecting System Administration then Third Party Application and then Mobile Apps configuration from the ProStix Main Menu, and then select U. for Custom List Import. To import a custom list of products into Trade Portal for the selected customer, perform the following: 1. From the  ProStix Main Menu  select  System Administration  then  Third Party Applications  and then  Mobile Apps Configuration , then select  U. Custom List Import.  2. Type the .csv file name as saved in the  ProStix/dmp  directory. 3. Select <F1> to run the import. 4. The custom list designated in the csv file will then be imported into ProStix for the selected customer and available to view in the Trade Portal. 5. Follow the steps in  Viewing Custom Lists  to check if the importing has been successful. Importing Generic Custom Lists A generic custom list of products can be imported into the Trade Portal where staff can come up with Custom Lists for a range of jobs at a Branch level. This will allow staff to suggest products that they would like customers to purchase and is readily available in stock at the branches.. This list can then be used as required when adding products to the shopping cart. The import function can accessed by selecting System Administration then Third Party Application and then Mobile Apps configuration from the ProStix Main Menu, and then select U for Custom List Import. A .csv format of the list is saved to the  ProStix/dmp  directory following the format below: Refer to  Importing Custom Lists  for explanation of how to import the file. Customers can then view the  generic custom list  on the Trade Portal, and can then add the custom list of products to their cart if they wish to place a quote or order.
