If set to 'yes', prevents customers from accidentally registering multiple times via the Trade Portal. When set to 'yes', the customer is only able to register once via the Trade Portal.

To access the Trade Portal, each customer must first complete a self-registration process. Customers are required to do this only once.

To register for Trade Portal, customers must perform the following:

1. From Internet Explorer or Chrome, type in your unique Trade Portal site URL, then select the '**Register**' button. For example: [https://portal.sterland.com.au:91/tradeportal/](https://portal.sterland.com.au:91/tradeportal/).

2. Customers need to obtain one of their latest monthly statements that has been modified to include a randomly generated code, then enter the following information. Refer to the 'Trade Portal Registration' collapsible link for a screenshot and an explanation of the options.

| **Field** | **Action to take** |
| **Account No.** | Enter your 'Account:' number. |
| **Statement Date.** | Refer to your statement and enter the 'Statement to:' date exactly as it is displayed on the statement. |
| **Statement Ref.** | Enter the 12-character code as it is displayed on your statement. |
| **Email** | Enter your email address. |
| **First Name** | Enter your first name. |
| **Last Name** | Enter your last name. |
| **Username** | Enter a unique username. Must be 6 or more characters long. |
| **Password** | Enter a password. |
| **Confirm Password** | Re-enter your password. |

3. Once all the details are entered, click **Register** to finalise the process.
4. You receive a 'Registration successful' message. The user can then log on using the username and password created.
