> ℹ️ The Trade Portal provides the customers the ability to pay their account via integration with a bank payment gateway.

To pay your outstanding account balance, perform the following:

1. From the Trade Portal home page, select **My Account**.
2. Select **Pay Account** from the drop-down menu options.

#### Pay Account View

The customer's 'Account Status' is displayed including the 'Current Account Balance', the '30-Day Balance' and the 'Overdue Balance'.

The **Amount **field displays the value of the last payment made.

3. Click **Pay Now**. A new browser window is opened linked to the payment gateway. The user is then directed to validate payment.

# Payment information

The customer payment is processed as a direct credit payment when the bank statement is imported by the Accounts Receivable clerk the following day.

The customer balance is only updated once the AR payment is completed in Prostix.
