# Overview

There are two ways in which Trade Portal logins can be maintained, via ProStix (for users), and by the customers themselves via the Trade Portal. Refer to the following sections for details on how to manage passwords and logins using both options:

Maintain logins and passwords via the Trade Portal

For customers wishing to maintain their own login and password information via the Trade Portal, perform the following:

1. Login to the Trade Portal URL as per normal process
2. Navigate to **My Account** in the top menu bar and select "Account Admin" from the drop-down list of options.
3. From here you can select "Add New" button to create a new Account login. You will be prompted to enter the following information:

| **Field** | **Description** |
| --- | --- |
| User ID | Enter a unique user ID - this will be the username when logging on to the Trade Portal |
| User Password | Enter a password to be used when logging in to the Trade Portal |
| Role | Select from the dropdown either 'admin' or 'sales' |
| Web | Tick |
| Mobile | Tick |
| First Name | First Name of user |
| Surname | Last name of user |
| Email | Enter preferred email address - this will be the default 'from' address when sending emails from the portal |
| Mobile No | Enter preferred mobile number |

4. Click **Create** to apply/save. The user details will now be listed under Account logins as well as being available in ProStix for users to edit and maintain (refer to the next section for details on how to maintain via ProStix).

> ℹ️ To edit or delete an existing account login, click on the **username** hyperlink to open the **Mobile User** pop up box. From there you can either select the "Delete" button to remove the account login, or update the required fields as per step 3 above, then click "Update" to apply the change/s.

Maintain logins and passwords via ProStix

> ℹ️ The Mobile Apps Configuration Main Menu in ProStix allows users to delete and maintain their customers' password information.

To maintain login information for your customers, perform the following:

1. From the** ProStix Main Menu** select **System Administration** > **Third-Party Applications** > **Mobile Apps Configuration**.

2. The **Mobile Apps Configuration** screen is displayed:

3. Select **User Security **and select Enter.

4. Type **Tportal **and select Enter. The F3 search tool is available.

5. You are presented with a list of Users and their passwords.

6. Select F5 to delete a user or F7 to change a user.
