Manual Process 1. From the 'Main Menu' select options - 'System Administration' - 'File Purges' - 'Purge Pack File' . 2. The first screen displays a warning and allows you to key in the date prior to which all pack files will be purged: This program will delete all records in the pack file where packs have been sold or used up to the date specified. Purge Date: key the date that the pack file is to be purged. Any packs that have been sold or used on or before the date keyed will be deleted in the purge and the data will no longer be available for reports and enquiries. 3. If you key a date which is within one month of the current date, the following message will appear: Warning you should keep at least 1 months data in the file. 4. Press the to continue or press/click (Exit) to re-key the purge date.
