You can nominate whether to purge only those unacceptable quotes that were raised as cash quotes. 1. From the 'Main Menu' select options 'System Administration' - 'File Purges' - 'More File Purges' - 'Unaccepted Quotes Purge' . 2. The first screen displays an explanation of the purge and allows you to key the type of quotes to purge and the date from which unaccepted quotes will be purged. Warning - This program will remove unaccepted Quotes from the data base. From/To Branch: key the branch range. Cash Only: key 'yes' to delete only those unaccepted quotes that were raised as cash or retail quotes where the customer number was entered as zero. Key 'no' to purge all unaccepted quotes, including cash quotes. Purge Date: key the date from which unaccepted quotes are to be purged. Any unaccepted quote record that is dated on or before the date keyed will be automatically deleted from the data base. 3. If you key a date that is less than three months before the current date, the following warning will appear: Warning you entered a date that is less than 3 months ago. Do you wish to continue? 4. Press the to continue or press/click (Exit) to re-key the purge date. 5. When the purge has completed successfully, the program will display the number of records that have been deleted.
