This option purges data from the General Ledger detail file for the selected accounting year and the selected company. 1. From the  'Main Menu'  select options  'System Administration' - 'File Purges' - 'More File Purges' - 'General Ledger Details Purge' . 2.  The first screen displays a list of companies to choose from.   3. The next screen displays an explanation of the purge and allows you to key in the accounting year from which all General Ledger details will be purged.      This program will purge data from the general ledger detail file for the selected financial year.    Note that G/L drill down records will also be removed.      Year to Purge:   key the accounting year.   4. Once the purge has been successful a deleted records count will be displayed.
