| <span style="color: #003366">**ANSWER:**</span> | To check or change my default printer, perform the following:<br><span style="color: #333333">1. To locate your default printer settings, from the</span>**<span style="color: #333333"> Prostix Main Menu</span>**<span style="color: #333333"> select </span>**<span style="color: #333333">'System Administration'</span>**<span style="color: #333333"> then </span>**<span style="color: #333333">'System Setup'</span>**<span style="color: #333333"> then </span>**<span style="color: #333333">'Define Devices'.</span>**<br>> Macro (nested-table)<br><span style="color: #333333">2. Locate and select your device. Refer to FAQ:</span><span style="color: #000000"> </span>[<span style="color: #000000">SYS: How do I know what my device ID is?</span>](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/PROSTIXV48DOC/pages/31112661)<br>3. <F1> through the screens until you reach the '**Default Printers**' screen.<br>> Macro (nested-table)<br>4. Your default printers for your specific device are displayed. From here you can edit your default printers. The **<F3>** search facility can be used to locate and select the printer of your choice.<br>5.  If you leave a default printer blank, the system will revert back to the Branch Default printer. To view Branch Default printers, from the **Prostix Main Menu **select** 'System Administration'** then **'System Set-up'** then **'Define Branches'**.<br>> Macro (nested-table)<br>6. Select your branch then press **<****F1>** through the screens until you reach the the 'Branch Printers & Comms' screen.<br>> Macro (nested-table)<br>7. You are presented with a list of the default printers specified by the Branch. These printers are used if you do not have anything specified for the relevant output against your device. |
