Within ProStix, Program security is used to control menus and options that Users are allowed access to, and this is primarily controlled via the allocation of a ‘User Group’ to a User ID.  Each User Group requires ProStix programs assigned, so customised access for particular User Groups can be controlled.  Once a User Group is created and the required programs have been assigned, the User Group(s) is then added to the User’s profile via their designated User ID.  This document describes the process for creating a User Group, adding ProStix programs to User Groups, and finally assigning User Groups to User IDs.
