| <span style="color: #003366">**PROBLEM:**</span> | PDA device - ID field no longer working |
| <span style="color: #003366">**CAUSE:**</span> | Unknown |
| <span style="color: #003366">**SOLUTION:**</span> | To resolve this issue, perform the following:<br>1. When the PDA first connects into Prostix, it registers a unique device identifier against the define Prostix device name for the PDA.<br>2. If the PDA happens to die at some stage, and a new one replaces the old with the same Prostix device ID, the unique ID field needs to be cleared.<br>3. To do this please contact Sterland Computing. |
