The  Stop Proddx Engine  option sets a stop flag, so on the next cycle the ProDDX engine is stopped according to the sleep time. The sleep time is configurable via  ProStix System Flag  ' DDXEnSleep (DDX Sleep Time in seconds) '. Reasons for stopping the ProDDX engine might include:  Database maintenance Record lock issues Hung process To stop the ProDDX engine, perform the following: 1. From the  ProStix   Main Menu  select  'System Administration'  then  'Data Exchange'  then  'Stop Proddx Engine'. 2. When you select this option, a 'Message' screen displays: 3. Select  <OK> to continue or <F4> to exit. 4. If <OK> is selected, t he engine should terminate at the conclusion of the current cycle.
