The  Rebuild Supplier Names Index  option rebuilds the index for searching through the Supplier Master File. When a supplier is created, the system analyses the Supplier Name and creates an index for any word within that name that is longer than two letters.   To  rebuild the index for searching through the Supplier Master File , perform the following: 1. From the  ProStix   Main Menu  select  'System Administration'  then  'Utilities'  then  ' Rebuild Supplier Name Index' . 2. The time it will take to re-build this index is dependent on your processor and the size of the Supplier Master File. 3. Select <F1> (Go) to continue or <F4> (Exit) to end the program.
