From the ProStix Main Menu , select ' General Ledger ' then ' Asset Register ', then ' Asset Maintenance '. 2. If required, select the relevant company from the 'Select Company' screen. 3. From the 'Options' menu search for, then select the relevant asset. 4. S elect option ' Revalue '. 5. If this is the first time that this asset has been revalued, the 'Company Book Value' screen prompts for the following information: 6. If this asset has been previously revalued, when this option is selected, the previously typed details will be displayed on the screen. 7. If the details do not require amendment, select . 8. If you wish to amend the existing revalue details, type the new value. 9. The following journals occur when revaluing an asset to a lesser value (after running the G/L interface). For example, a $1,000.00 item is revalued down to $900.00: 10. The following journals occur when revaluing an asset to a greater value (after running the G/L interface). For example, a $1,000.00 item is revalued up to $2000.00.
