To Open the .csv file in Excel, perform the following: 1. Open Microsoft Excel by selecting the program from the Start menu on you system or by double-clicking an Excel icon on your desktop. When you start Excel, a blank workbook appears in the document window. To open the .csv file: 2. A list of files is displayed in the white area below the Look In box. 3. A work sheet open, displaying the comma delimited information extracted from the debtors file in ProStix. This information appears as a series of rows and columns that are badly formatted. There are many powerful tools in Excel that allows you tidy up this information so that it can be used in a variety of ways. Before formatting the work sheet, it is advised to save the file as a .xls file, thereby preserving the original .csv file.  4. Refer to  Save the .csv as a .xls  for further information.
