To perform a stock adjustment of a timber tally parent product ,  perform the following:   1. From the  ProStix Main Menu  select  'Inventory Management'  then  ' Stock Adjustment ' then ' Adjust Stock'  then  'Adjust Quantity' .   2. The 'Stock Adjustment' screen is displayed.  Type the  Branch  and  Adjustment Date  which the adjustment is made on, then select <F1> to proceed. 3. Type the  parent Product code . <F3> Search is available. The associated child length records are then displayed. Select the relevant  child product  that is to be adjusted. 4. Once selected, the parent product is replaced with the child product so  quantity ,  GL Acct  and  Adjustment Reference  (<F3> Search is available) can be entered / typed as required for the adjustment. 5. Select <F4> to exit or repeat steps 3-4 to adjust additional child records. 6. Select  No  to the question  "You have chosen to exit the Stock Adjustment. Maintenance and there are unposted transactions".  Refer to the screenshot below. 7. A summary report of the postings will be printed. Refer to  Printing Options in ProStix Character Mode (CHUI)  and  Printing Options in ProStix Graphical Mode (GUI)  for further information.
