To move / adjust quantity of stock from one product to another product ( material conversion - direct conversion) ,  perform the following:   1.  F rom the  ProStix Main Menu  select  'Inventory Management'  then  ' Stock Adjustment ' then ' Material Conversion '. 2. The 'Select Branch' window is displayed. Select <F1> to proceed. Select ' Direct Conversion ' from the Options menu.   3. Type the  parent Product ID  into the  Product  field, then select <F1> to proceed. 4. Select the required child product being used. 5. Type the number of pieces used in the  Qty  field, then select <F1> to proceed. 6. Select <F4> then <F1> to view the 'Stock Produced' screen displayed on the right hand side of the screen. 7.  Type the  parent product id , then select the child for the length that is being produced.  8. The selected Child product is displayed. E nter / type the  quantity , then  select <F1> to proceed. 9. Repeat step 7 and 8 if multiple products are being produced. 10. Once complete, select <F4> to exit, then <F1> to proceed. You are warned if the adjustment exceeds the original used quantity / value. 11. The 'Material Conversion' screen is displayed. Select <F3> to search available adjustment reasons. The  Narration  field is auto-populated. Select <F1> to proceed and then select the <space-bar> to continue. 12. The G/L Journal Summary is displayed on the screen. Select <F1> to update the stock and the G/L.
