Prostix ETM can communicate with your suppliers either directly or by using a VAN to provide file translations and file delivery. This section has been put together to discuss setting up Prostix to deliver and receive XML files to/from a VAN by using a directory structure on your ProStix server. This XML is translated at the exchange and then sent to your supplier. When your suppliers send documents back to you, they are translated back into XML at the exchange so that they can be imported into ProStix.
