This process explains how to  maintain volume discounts for the selected product. A Volume Discount is one given to customers for ordering large quantities of a given product. These volume discounts apply to all sales, including cash sales. To maintain volume discounts for the selected product, perform the following: 1. From the  ProStix   Main Menu  select  'Inventory Management'  then  'Product Maintenance'  then  'Select Product' . You are presented with a screen with a data entry field for the product code. 2. Select the product, then select  'Volume Discounts '. 3. The first screen displays a list of volume discount percentages for the selected product. Refer to the 'Volume Discounts' collapsible link for a screenshot and an explanation of these options: 4. To add a volume discount, select <F6>. To change a volume discount, select the discount and select <F7>. To delete a volume discount, select the discount and select <F5>. 5. If you selected  'add'  or  'change'  then you can update changes, refer to the 'Add/Change' collapsible link for an explanation of these options: 6. Next type either a Discount %, Sell Price or GP% applicable to customer purchases that fall into this qty break. Typing one field recalculates the other two. Refer to the 'Discount, Sell Price or GP' collapsible link for an explanation of these options: 7. After entering in all Quantity Breaks, select <F4> to return to the  Product Maintenance Options  list.
