This process explains how to maintain the Chain of Custody information for products. Note :  'featureCOC'  (Chain of Custody) must be active for you to be able to use this menu item. The ProStix Chain of Custody feature provides a means of tracking the Chain of Custody for timber that has been certified. By tracking the certified timber packs from import orders to sales orders sales opportunities are provided for certified timber sales. The certification link from stock receipting is maintained through any new packs created through docking, material conversions and pack splitting to provide packs to customers that have timber certification.    To perform Product Level Maintenance for a selected Product, perform the following: 1. From the  ProStix   Main Menu  select  'Inventory Management'  then  'Product Maintenance'  then  'Select Product' , then after selecting the product, choose  'More Data'  then  'Certification' . 2. You will then be presented with a list of existing entries, or be placed in 'Add mode' if no entries exist. 3. Use <F5> Delete, <F6> Add and <F7> Change to maintain the table.   To perform Branch-Product Level Maintenance for a selected Product, perform the following: 1. From the  ProStix   Main Menu  select  'Inventory Management'  then  'Product Maintenance'  then  'Select Product' , then after selecting the product, choose  'Stock Data' . 2. Select the appropriate Branch from the 'Which Branch?' field.
