Attributes are defined by the System Administrator. Refer to Define Attributes in the System Administration User Guide for further information. To maintain the attributes defined for a product, perform the following: 1. From the ProStix Main Menu select 'Inventory Management' then 'Product Maintenance' . 2. Select a product using any of the search methods. 3. From the options box select 'More Data' then 'Attributes' . Any Product attributes are listed. 4. Use <F6> Add, <F7> Change and <F5> Delete to modify the table which contains the following fields: When entering certain products into a transaction, the user can now be prompted to add extra specific details (attributes) and then these are stored as extended comments against the transaction line for output onto stationery. Attributes are used to define what is prompted for, and the trnmsg table is used as the storage area. They can be output onto stationery with an appropriate trigger for NuVu to use.
