This process explains how to return a pack to stock that has previously flagged as 'used' because it has either been sold or broken up, thus reducing loose stock and increasing pack stock for the pack product. The pack re-instatement copies loose stock to pack stock. It is used to reverse a pack stock to loose stock conversion. Neither program changes the stock on hand or posts the G/L. Stock by length is updated (loose stock reduced, pack stock increased). If the program is used to re-instate packs that were sold or deleted by stock take then an appropriate stock adjustment should be made to increase stock on hand and G/L value. To return a pack to stock that has previously flagged as 'used' because it has either been sold or broken up thus reducing loose stock and increasing pack stock for the pack product, perform the following: 1. From the ProStix Main Menu select 'Inventory Management' then 'Stock Adjustment' then 'Pack Reinstatement' . 2. The 'select Branch' screen prompts for the Branch Number, <F3> Search is available. 3. The 'Pack Reinstatement' screen appears. Type the number for the pack to be reinstated into the 'Pack Number' field. <F3> (Search) is available. 4. The pack details for the selected pack are displayed. These cannot be altered. Check that you are reinstating the correct pack number, then select <F1> to reinstate this pack from loose pieces, or select <F4> to cancel the process. 5. Continue to reinstate pack numbers or select <F4> to return to the Stock Adjustment screen.
