That is, sum cost = ' yes ' and/or sum sell = ' yes '. To update the cost/sell price of a kit for kits where the cost/sell is calculated by adding the cost of each component in the kit, perform the following: 1. From the ProStix Main Menu select 'Inventory Management' then 'Product Maintenance' then 'Kit Maintenance' then 'Re-Price Kit' . 2. The 'Kit Reprice'screen appears. All kits within the selection are re-priced. This first screen allows you to back out by selecting . 3. If you type 'yes' to include Branch Pricing, you are prompted to enter a range of branches. 4. If you choose to continue via , all kits where the sum cost/sell = 'yes' are updated with the current cost/sell of each individual component. 5. If Branch pricing is included, the cost/sell for all branches within the specified range for each re-priced kit is updated based on the branches' labour and overhead rates specified in the kit's product group. In addition, kits are re-priced even if sum cost = 'no' ; the labour and overhead rates are applied to the existing branch cost. 6. When the procedure is complete, a message displays the number of kits that were repriced. 7. Select to return to the Kit Maintenance screen. Branch Cost & Sell Update for the Kit Header Product 1. If you reprice a kit and the component cost sum flag is set to 'no' , then the branch cost is set to the product's standard cost. (This differs from Copying Kits ). 2. If the product flag 'Retain product GP up' is set to 'yes' or the product flag 'Retain product GP down' is set to 'yes' then the branch sell price is calculated based on the component cost (which is either the sum of components or the standard cost). 3. If the price is zero then the component branch sell price is calculated. 4. If the kit being copied has the 'Sell' flag set to 'no' then the sell price is changed to the product standard sell. (This differs from Copying Kits ).
