This process explains how to create and maintain job contracts. All contract transactions for that customer attract the special contract prices specified for the period allocated. A job contract applies to either all branches or only selected branches and only applies to the customers that have been linked to it. As Job Contracts do not have the option to set as a default for a customer, when processing a sale for a customer who is included in a job contract, you are required to select that contract in order to apply the contract prices for the products specified within it. To create and maintain job contracts, perform the following: 1. From the ProStix Main Menu select 'Inventory Management' then 'Special Pricing' then 'Contract Pricing' then 'Job Contracts' . 2. The first screen lists the current job contracts. select <F6> to add a new job contract. Refer to the 'Job Contracts ' collapsible link for a screenshot and an explanation of these options. 3 .As job contracts must have at least one customer attached, the 'Customer List' screen prompts you for the customers to be linked to this contract. Add customers using the <F3> search facility, then select <F1> when finished. 4. The contract header has now been created. You can select 'Update Header' from the Options menu to change any of the information in the header, except the customer and contract ID. Refer to the 'Update Header' collapsible link for a screenshot and an explanation of these options: 5. Select the option for 'Contract Details' from the side menu. You are presented with a box where you can enter either products or product groups.
