This process explains how to create a new product by copying from another similar one on the Product Master File. If you are creating a number of similar products, it can be quicker to use the copy product facility. To create a new product by copying from another similar one on the Product Master File, perform the following: 1. From the  ProStix Main Menu  select  'Inventory Management'  then  'Product Maintenance'  then  'New Product' . 2. You are presented with a 'New Product' screen where you can complete the following basic information about the product (same as when creating a new product). Refer to the 'Product Information' collapsible link for an explanation of these options: 3. Select <F1> twice to proceed to the 'Copy Product' screen. Refer to the 'Copy Product' collapsible link below for an explanation of these options: 4. The next screen displays the product header and a list of options for you to choose from. Each of these options are explained in the  Product Maintenance Options .
