Program Security allows you to determine the level of access that user groups have to programs in the system. To determine the level of access that user groups have to programs in the system, and to be able to determine this level of security, user groups need to be defined with each group having at least one user assigned to the group. To maintain program security, perform the following: 1. From the ProStix Main Menu select 'System Administration' then 'Security' then 'Program Security' . 2. The 'Select Security Group' screen lists user groups that have already been defined. Select <Enter> on a user group to display the list of programs allocated to that group. 3. R efer to processes Maintaining Program Security to User Group/s (CHUI) in the ProStix Program Security (CHUI) User Guide and/or Maintaining Program Security to User Group/s (GUI) in the ProStix Program Security (GUI) User Guide for further information. 4. To add a new program to the selection available, refer to step 4 onwards in Maintaining Program Security to User Group/s (CHUI) in the ProStix Program Security (CHUI) User Guide and/or Maintaining Program Security to User Group/s (GUI) in the ProStix Program Security (GUI) User Guide for further information.
