Refer to Advanced Product Search in the ProStix v4.8 What's New User Guide which enables you to search for products by code or product description (multiple partial words of the description) in any word order, including the middle or last part of a word. To change the Product Number for a selected Product across your database, perform the following: 1. From the ProStix Main Menu select 'Inventory Management' then 'Product Maintenance' then 'Change Product No.' . 2. The first screen displays an alpha listing of products to search and select: 3. Having selected a product, a screen then displays the basic information for that product. 4. Confirm that you have selected the correct product as this procedure results in permanent changes to the Product Master File. If you do not wish to continue select . Refer to the 'Product Information' collapsible link for an explanation of these options: 5. If the change is not to be run in batch mode, the following messages appear in sequence: Changing Product number throughout the system Procedure complete Press space bar to continue. 6. Pending Product Number Changes If you are using the option to run the Product Number changes in batch mode, you may view any pending Product Number changes by selecting (See Table).
