A user group is a way of categorising users that require access to the same areas of the system according to their job functions. Program access is assigned to each of these user groups through the  Program Security  program. To maintain Security Groups, perform the following: 1. From the  'Main Menu'  select  'System Administration'  then  'Security'  then  'Define User Groups'.  2. The 'Security Groups' screen lists the user groups that have been defined, refer to the links below for an explanation of these options.  3. R efer to processes  Maintaining User Groups (CHUI)  in the  ProStix Program Security (CHUI) User Guide  and/or  Maintaining User Groups (GUI)  in the  ProStix Program Security (GUI) User Guide  for further information.
