The diary notes option allows you maintain a diary of information against the product. Product Information To type a product information message that appears when typing an Order for this product, perform the following: 1. From the ProStix Main Menu select 'Inventory Management' then 'Product Maintenance' then 'Select Product' . You are presented with a screen with a data entry field for the product code. 2. Select the product, then select 'Product Info' then 'Product Information' . 3. A Product Information message can be typed into the blank screen. 4. If the 'Info at POS' flag in the Product Master File is set to 'yes' , the product information typed in this box is displayed when the product is typed on an order through Sales Order Processing or Point of Sale. 5. If the 'Info at P/Order' flag in the Product Master File is set to 'yes' , the product information typed in this box is displayed when the product is typed on a purchase order through Purchase Order Processing. 6. If the 'Info at POS' and/or the 'Info at P/Order' flag/s in the Product Master File is/are set to 'yes' , the product information typed in this box is displayed when performing a Stock enquiry or Pricing enquiry on the product. Diary Notes To type Diary Notes against the product, perform the following: 1. From the ProStix Main Menu select 'Inventory Management' then 'Product Maintenance' then 'Select Product' . You are presented with a screen with a data entry field for the product code. 2. Select the product, then select 'Product Info' , then 'Diary Notes' . 3. Select to add a new entry, enter a follow-up date and then enter in your diary notes. to save.
