This process explains how to create a new cubic metre product and add the details to the Product Master File with/without tallies and validation. Refer to  UOM Maintenance  for how to  setup and maintain different units of measure that you can then use to define your products. To  create a new cubic metre product and add the details to the Product Master File, perform the following: 1. From the  ProStix   Main Menu  select  'Inventory Management'  then  'Product Maintenance'  then  'New Product' . 2. You are presented with a screen where you can complete the following basic information about the product. Type the cost and sell prices per cubic metre. 3. Type the information in the same way as you did for  New Product  but for the Unit of Measure, select  'm3' . 4. When you select <F1> you are presented with a new screen, refer to the 'Length Tally Information' collapsible link for an explanation of these options: 5 .The next screen displays the product header and a list of options for you to choose from. Each of these options are explained in the  Product Maintenance Options  section. 6. Further information about the product can then be defined under   More Data - Timber / Sheet Info  such as width, depth, weight, specie, and so on.         \
