This process explains how to convert any product, whether it is a non-length product or not. Direct Conversion does not allow you to add any other cost. That is, conversion value to the product. To convert any product, whether it is a non-length product or not, perform the following: 1. From the  ProStix Main Menu  select  'Inventory Management'  then  'Stock Adjustment'  then  'Material Conversion'  then  [select stocking branch]  then  'Direct Conversion' . 2. The 'Stock Used' screen prompts you to nominate the product to convert. Refer to the ' Stock Used ' collapsible link for a screenshot and an explanation of these options: 3. When the row is completed, select <F1>. A new row opens for adding. 4. To edit the details of an entry, select <F4> to enter Update mode, navigate to the record to be changed and select <F7>. You can change the value of any field (but if the product is non-tally, you cannot update the Length). If you change a tally product to a non-tally product, a warning message briefly appears and the length automatically changes to zero. 5. To delete an entry, select <F4> to enter Update mode, navigate to the record to be changed, then select <F5>. 6. To add additional entries after entering Update mode, select <F6>. A new row opens for adding. 7. When all details are completed select <F4> if you are not already in Update mode, then select <F1> to continue. An identical screen allows you to input details of the product that this product is being converted to. Refer to the 'Product Details' collapsible link for a screenshot and an explanation of these options: 8. The Add, Edit and Delete functions work as they do in the 'Stock Used' screen. 9. When all details are completed select <F4> if you are not already in Update mode, then select <F1> to continue>.
