Note : The information within this section will be hidden before the FAQ is published. QUESTION: How Do I set up Fax options for NuVu? ANSWER: Alternate Fax Option for VM Servers NuVu now supports faxing from UTBOX or Telstra Faxstream. This is the passing of Fax’s from ProStix as an email to the UTBOX and Telstra Fax Stream fax services. Requirements to configure this option are; NuVu Version 4610_20150815 as a minimum You will need to create a configuration file called Nuvufax.ini with the follow contents and store it in c:\nuvu on the NuVu server. [Overrides] FaxRoot=C:\NuVu\ UsingPdfFax=True FaxViaEmail=True EmailFaxIP= fax.utbox.net EmailFaxFrom=fax@ customer.com.au DialPrefixFor8DigitNumbers=03 DialPrefixFor6DigitNumbers=61 MinimumFaxNumberLength=6 This configuration file is to be placed in the c:\nuvu directory on the NuVu server.   Change the EmailFaxFrom address to the address registered with UTBOX. The last 3 items are just overrides. So DialPrefixFor8DigitNumbers=03 - if an 8 digit phone number is found then it prepends it with 03 in this case. Change for State area code. So DialPrefixFor6DigitNumbers=61 - if a 6 digit phone number is found then it prepends it with 61 in the case.   If the phone number is < 6 characters (MinimumFaxNumberLength) then you will get an entry in the log if the phone no. is less than this.
