Sales Discount Analysis This report enables a company to determine which discount modules work best for products based on their recent sales history. They can review the historical sales GP for a range of branches & then see what GP they make with selected discount modules using a representative branch cost/sell. The report lists the sales for the last number of months specified, the GP% for those months, the unit cost of the product in the representative branch, the retail sell and GP% and the discount groups sell and GP% as selected by the user (this is based on the representative branch prices, whereas the accumulated sales are based on the branch range selected). The left hand side of the report is associated with sales reporting for the number of months as selected. The range of sales is determined using the branch range, (preferred) supplier range, product group range, product range, and date range. The report is in descending order of sales. The right hand side of the report is concerned with the price of a product if it was sold today at the representative Branch and applying the discount groups selected (that is, based on branch prices).
