The file should be named and saved as a  .csv  file as this is the format type that can be recognised by the Import Utility. 1. Click  File  and choose  Save As .  The default  File Name  and  Save As Type  is displayed. 2. Check that the  Save In  location is correct and modify if necessary. 3. Click on the drop-down arrow beside the  Save As Type  box. 4. Scroll down and select CSV (Comma Delimited) (*.csv). 5. Click in the  Filename  box and type an appropriate filename.  It is not necessary to include an extension in the filename as Excel will automatically allocate the extension chosen in the  Save As Type  box. That is,  .csv. 6. Select  Save. It is recommended that the filename you have chosen does not contain special characters or spaces and complies with the filename that your operating system recognises. It is also a good idea to keep your file name short but meaningful and simple. Formatting performed on fields in a .csv file can be lost when the file is closed and reopened in Excel.  This presents a particular problem with the Barcode column. For this reason,
