If the invoice selected is in a currency other than the local currency, then a new screen will be displayed alongside the invoice payment screen. This is display only unless you select the function key option <F7> Exch Rate to update the exchange rate details with the final amount to be paid.  Any differences in amounts due to exchange rate gains/losses at this point will debit the foreign exchange gains/losses account and credit the trade creditors account.
