Pre Requisites: None. This utility runs outside of ProStix on your PC. To save your input format, perform the following: 1. Ensure all fields have been correctly assigned their corresponding EPC field name. 2. Select File then Save As. 3. Type the format name. For example, 'otter' in the Description box and select save. 4. The format is saved as an .xml file. That is, otter.xml. When this format is saved, another file called the index.xml is also created or updated and must accompany your .xml file when it is copied onto the server, into the directory /prostix/etm/format/input. 5. When this format is saved, another file called the index.xml is also created or updated and must accompany your .xml file when it is copied onto the server, into the directory /prostix/etm/format/input. 6. Printing a copy of the .xml file allows you to double-check what is where in the format that you have created. That is, it will list the field ID and the corresponding position. This position refers to the column number in your spreadsheet. Unfortunately Excel refers to its column alphabetically, not numerically. 7. So far, you have created the following files:  As with the Import Utility, all of the files you have been working with have been created on your PC. All these files need to be copied into your ProStix directory on your server so they can be located and imported into ProStix via the EPC module.  It is recommended that you either have a drive sharing program installed so that you can link the physical hard drive on your PC to the hard drive on your server (for example, Samba, Anzio Lite and Vision FS, or use a file transfer program).  8. Copy all files to the following location on your server: csv files /prostix/dmp or similar. Store these files in the directory referred to in the ETM Input Location that you will be importing from. For example, xml file/prostix/live/etm/format/input/ or similar. This file should be stored in the directory referred to as your template directory in ETM Input Control.
