On a periodic basis, the notification engine runs and extracts and reports upon all new timber packs that have been created for sales orders. The Event Type for this new notification is: This is available for selection if you select to search in the event type field. The Sales Order Pack Availability notification prompts for a branch range and whether you want the output to be grouped messages (i.e. do you want 20 separate emails/messages per user for the output or group them into 1 email/message per user). Then you will be prompted for the users/groups you want to notify for this task. Once you have selected the branch ranges, you will be able to enter the scheduling details. The scheduled job runs through each of the branches specified and extracts any milling system audit records created since the last date &and time that the notification system ran. Audit records created since the last run date and time that have the sales order field populated with a non-zero value will be reported upon and an event will be created with the necessary details included in the message. These will then be picked up by the scheduled notification engine and the notification is then sent to the users recorded against the email notification task.
