Goal: This option displays the individual transactions that have been posted to the customer account. Steps: 1. The first screen prompts you to select the required company. 2. The next screen will display a list of transactions that have been posted against the selected customer account. If you know the reference number for a particular transaction, start keying the number and the program will narrow in on that transaction. Press the <Space-Bar> or the <Page Down> key to view further pages. 3. Press/Click <F2> on an invoice to Defer the payment. See below for details. 4. Press/Click <F9> on a Payment or Adjustment type transaction to  add a comment  to the transaction. Reason for Payment/Adjustment:  key the reason code. You may leave this field blank but if you do key a reason code then it must exist in the  ' Reason for A/R Payments / Adjustments' table defined in the Reason Codes tables. <F3> search is available if required. Once a valid reason code is entered, the description of the reason will appear.  Comment:  type any additional comments. Optional.  5. The <F8>  Sort  facility gives you the ability to change the sort sequence of the records displayed. It will toggle the browser to display records in either ascending or descending order sequence. 6. When you have keyed the desired details, press/click <F1>. Once a comment has been added to a transaction, an asterisk will appear alongside the reference number (provided that either the Reason or Comment field is not blank). Only one comment can exist for a transaction; you can update the comment text or reason as required by highlighting the transaction and pressing/clicking <F8>. 7. You cannot add a comment to an Invoice or Credit transaction. You can add transaction comments only for Open Item accounts, not Balance Forward accounts. 8. To view the details of a selected transaction press the <Enter> key. This will enable various other actions and enquiries by way of the function keys. 9. If you are running the Delivery Scheduling Feature pressing/clicking <F5> Despatch will  display the delivery despatch details  that were keyed for this invoice. Otherwise it will disallow access. 10 . <F6> P/Orders will allow you to  view any linked purchase orders  that were processed as part of this sale. 11. <F7> Costs will allow you to see the  invoice costs  for all products on the invoice. 12. The invoice may be  printed  or re-printed by selecting <F8> Print. The invoice document can be programmed to include or exclude various information depending on your selections:   Show unit prices:  Do you want to print the pricing information on the invoice? Key 'yes' or 'no'.  Note : If  Worksheet Format  = 'yes', then prices will print regardless.    Worksheet Format:  If you want to print the invoice on invoice stationery, then key 'no'. If you want the invoice to print on plain computer paper, then key 'yes'.    Print all Comments:  Do you wish to print the order comments on the selected stationery? If 'yes' then all comments will print regardless of the print flag indicator on each individual comment within the order. If 'no' then only those comments which have been individually flagged (on the order) to print, will print.    Invoice Type:  This field will default with the value held in the Customer Master File. If printing the invoice now, this field will allow you to change the format that you want the invoice to print in. There are three valid format selections:    D - Will print a Full Detail invoice, i.e. all products and quantities that appear on the order.  S - Will print a Section Summary invoice which shows the extended price of each section within the delivery.  J - Will print a Job Total invoice which only shows the total price of the job.    Use NuVu Output:  Do you want to print the invoice in NuVu format? This field will default depending on your branch settings for printing NuVu Invoices. This means that you will only be able to maintain it if your branch is set to 'Sometimes' print NuVu invoices. If the field is maintainable then select 'yes' or 'no' to determine if the invoice is to print in NuVu format or in the format defined in your stationary settings.    13.<F9>  More Data  will allow you to enquire on other information about the invoice such as who keyed the order, who released it, who authorised it (if applicable) and the date and time it was released for invoice.
