This option allows you to define a field value translation between a specified Entity and ProStix, so that when ProStix imports or exports a file to/from that Entity, it import/exports values that can be recognised within ProStix. For example: A Supplier may output a particular UOM as MTR (linear metres), but a linear metre may be defined within ProStix as LM.  If an Input Data Translation record is defined for that particular field and Entity, it makes it possible for ProStix to recognise the field value as valid when importing. To define a field value translation between a specified Entity and ProStix, perform the following: 1. From the  ProStix Main Menu  select 'Electronic Trade Module' then 'ETM Output Control' then 'Data Translations' .  After selecting the menu option, a screen with the current translations is displayed. 2. To  Add  a Data Translation, select <F6>. Refer to the 'ETM Input Translations' collapsible link for a screenshot and an explanation of these options. 4. To  Change  a particular Data Translation, highlight the required record and select <F7>.  Make the required changes and select <F1> to update.  For more information please see the field definitions in the section under 'Adding a translation record' above. 5. To  Delete  a particular Data Translation, highlight the required record and select <F5>.
