If a large number of jobs have been created in error, it takes a long time for the scheduler to complete them which has a serious effect upon CPU performance. This option enables the user to delete all instances of the job by task id.   The  Delete Scheduled Jobs  option enables you to delete all job instances for a range of task ids.  To d elete Scheduled Jobs, p erform the following: 1. From the  ProStix   Main Menu  select  'System Administration'  then  'Utilities'  then  'Delete Scheduled Jobs' . 2. Enter the range of Task IDs ( not  Job Sequence numbers) whose instances you wish to delete from the Job Queue.   3. Re-start the system services. A message will appear reminding you to do so. Note : This does not delete any scheduled tasks.  It only deletes instances of the scheduled tasks from the job queue.
