This option is used to define every terminal and POS device attached to the system for the purpose of sales reporting, POS reconciliation and enquiries. To create and/or maintain devices, perform the following: 1. From the  ProStix Main Menu  select  'System Administration'  then  'System Set-up'  then  'Define Devices' . 2. The 'Define Devices' screen lists the devices that have been previously defined.  Refer to the 'Define Devices' collapsible link below for a screenshot and an explanation of these options: 3. You then need to define the device attributes. Refer to  Define Device Attributes .   Define Device Attributes  To define the device attributes, perform the folllowing: 1. Select the required device, then select <F1>. Two screens display allowing you to input the attributes for the selected device. Refer to the 'Define Device Attributes' collapsible link below for a screenshot and an explanation of these options: 2. The 'Defaults Printers' screen allows you to override the branch defined default printers by device (refer to  Printer Setup ).  Type the printer destination.  Refer to the 'Default Printer fields' collapsible  link below for a screenshot and an explanation of these options: Change a Device To change a device, perform the following: 1. Select the required device, then select <F7> (Change). 2. Type the changes to the required fields, then select <F1>.
