The  User Security Mass Update  facility allows you to mass update the security options for multiple users. The administrator provides a specific range of users and a range of security groups to apply via a mass update security settings to all users that meet these criteria. To  mass update the security options for multiple users ,  perform the following: 1. From the  ProStix Main Menu  select  'System Administration'  then  'Security'  then  ' User Security Mass Update ' . 2. The 'Select Range to Mass Update' screen appears with selection criteria: Refer to the 'Mass Update range' collapsible link for a screenshot and an explanation of these options: 3. You are then presented with a series of user security setting screens, the same as when you are first creating a  new user .  The actual series depends upon the settings selected. Additional detail screens appear if certain fields  are set to ' yes '. That is,  'POS Supervisor/Limit POS Supervisor'; 'Discount Module Security' or 'Restrict Cost Views'.
