The Prostix General Ledger Report Writer allows you to format financial reports to your own specifications, providing the data you require resides within the General Ledger system.  These report formats remain in the system, in numerical sequence by report number until they are deleted. You can use a maximum of thirteen (13) columns, printing on standard 132 column paper, however if you only have an eighty (80) column printer, you can only produce reports with a maximum of six (6) columns.  To format financial reports to your own specifications, perform the following: 1. From the  ProStix   Main Menu  select  'General Ledger ' then  'Reporting'  then ' Report Writer '. 2. The first screen prompts you to select the company to report on.   3. The 'Reports' screen lists existing reports.  4. To create a new report, select <F6>. You are prompted for initial information needed to create the report. Refer to the 'New Report' collapsible link for a screenshot and an explanation of these options. 5. The ' Report No. x ' screen allows you to name the report. Refer to the 'Report No' collapsible link for a screenshot and an explanation of these options. 6.
