In this lesson you will learn how to order Consignment Stock.  This option is used when the stock still belongs to the supplier but is on display in the showroom, for example, certain plumbing items are often sold this way.  If the item is sold to a customer, then it is purchased from the consignment stock.  To  order Consignment Stock, perform the following: 1. From the  ProStix Main Menu  select  'Purchasing &   Receipting'  then  'Consignment Stock'  then  'Order Consignment Stock'. 2. A 'New Order' screen then appears, defaulting 'Consignment Stock' to  'yes':   3. Once in the Purchase Order Input screen, any products you order from the supplier on this order is treated as Consignment Stock and the cost of the product/s default to the standard cost.
