By meeting the requirements of the Timber Certification schemes to provide a Chain of Custody on certified timber, the timber can be sold to customers as certified timber.  Customers can choose to order certified timber or even specify a particular timber certification scheme to validate that the timber allocated has been certified by the requested scheme.  To facilitate the banking system for Chain of Custody credits each order line for a timber product records if the customer requires certified timber and the certification scheme used, but only where the customer requested certified timber. As part of phase 2 the ordering of loose timber products that have been marked as fully certified display the certificate for the supplying branch on the timber tally screen as non-editable.  Customer Orders Certified Timber (specific scheme) – Pack Orders  1. From the  ProStix Main Menu  select  'Sales Order Processing'  then  'Order Processing'  then  'New Order'.   2. Select the customer, and after completing the first screen, you are presented with a 'Certified Timber' pop-up screen with the following fields: 3. Proceed through to the product entry screen. 4. Type a tally timber product code or <F3> to search and then select <F1>. 5. At the tally entry screen, select <F8> Packs. 6. On the Pack Entry screen, the Certified Req field will be set to  'yes'  and is protected from change. 7. Type the rest of the pack entry details. 8. When you are back at the detail line screen, the scheme selected can be seen in the comment line for the product to the right hand side of the entry PACKS <production , if present> before the tally line entry. 9. If you use <F8> then <F7> to change a certified sales order line entry, you are presented with the following fields that you can change if necessary:  10. When the Picking Slip is printed, the code for the scheme is printed alongside the product line details. 11. When the Delivery Docket is printed, the code for the scheme is printed alongside the product line details. At the bottom of the document the annotation is printed in superscript, followed by the logo for the scheme, followed by the three line delivery docket order timber certification message. If multiple schemes are in use on this S/O then there is multiple entries. 12. When the Invoice is printed, the code for the scheme is printed alongside the product line details. At the bottom of the document the annotation is printed in superscript, followed by the logo for the scheme, followed by the three line invoice timber certification message. If multiple schemes are in use on this S/O then there will be multiple entries.
