To maintain the Chain of Custody details on timber packs, perform the following: Pack Maintenance  1. From the ProStix Main Menu select 'Inventory Management' then 'Product Maintenance' then 'Pack Maintenance' then 'Pack Maintenance'. 2. Select a pack or use <F3> to search. If you use <F3> to search for a suitable pack, the certificate code can be seen in the first column of the browser. 3. After selecting <Enter> on the pack to select it, the Certificate Scheme can be seen as one of the fields on the header. 4. Choose the option to Change Header. Provided the Pack is not 'Used' and not 'Allocated' the certification scheme can be modified or removed. Confirmation is requested before the certification code is removed from a timber certified pack. The timber certification code is not allowed to be changed once the stock has been receipted into stock to maintain the integrity of the Chain of Custody. This protects you from having certified Timber changed to uncertified by accident in the maintenance screen. Keeping the certification code from being altered after the pack is in stock preserves the Chain of Custody. For a pack 'In transit' the certification scheme can be changed to blank or another valid certification scheme. For a pack in stock the certification scheme can be cleared which un-certifies the timber pack. Pre-Define New Pack  1. From the ProStix Main Menu select 'Inventory Management' then 'Product Maintenance' then 'Pack Maintenance' then 'Pre-Define New Pack'. 2. The Certificate Scheme can be typed as one of the fields on the first screen, or use <F3> to search.
