Maintenance of Stock Requisitions is the final task required of the branches.  This next option is selected by the purchasing branch to lock all active requisitions, preventing any further maintenance from being performed or to unlock previously locked requisitions.  A Stock Requisition can be unlocked only if it has not been processed through the next stage in the process – consolidation.  If a user is attempting to lock a requisition that is currently being maintained by another user, a message is displayed, allowing the user to identify, contact the branch and then retry or skip that branch.
