The Scheduled Requisition Generation task allows you to create linked requisitions for non-stock and special products though background processing. To create linked requisitions for non-stock and special products though background processing, perform the following: 1. From the ProStix Main Menu select ' Purchasing & Receipting ' then ' Stock Re-Ordering ' then ' Scheduled Linked Reqstns Non-Stocked' . 2. When this option is selected, a screen appears that lists all the defined Linked Requisition Re-order Tasks. 3. Select to add a new task. If no Re-order tasks exist, you are placed in add mode enabling you to define a new re-order task. You are prompted for a Task Id , Task Description and Days to Delivery . 4. You are prompted to define the scheduling parameters. 5. When scheduling is complete, the re-order task has been fully defined and you are returned to the list of tasks with the completed task having a status of 'disabled'. You then need to toggle the status to 'current' if you wish it to be enabled.
