The final step at the CDF is for a shipping manifest to be produced on a TTY terminal using menu option 'Inventory management' then 'Stock Control' then ' Location Control (CDF/CPF) then 'Shipping Manifests'    (inv340.p).   The  operator selects the products to be shipped from the products loaded (inv340s.p) - generally they select all. They also get the opportunity to select any direct delivery orders that have been sent direct to customers, to inform the branch that they have been sent (invbdirdeliv.p). When the manifest is printed (customised version), there is a check of the products being shipped and if any have hazardous codes, separate documentation is produced.   Once the manifest is produced then the stock at the CDF is reduced by the shipped quantity and the manifest printed. The status is changed to ' T '. The G/L impact is the CDF branch's stock account is credited and the Intercompany control account is debited. Stock transfer out is recorded in a stock adjustment record (stkadj). Common routines are in invlmanifest.i.
